Ueno Koi Farm
Ran by Hikoki Ueno, this farm is famous for it’s Showa! Ueno-San is a one-man operation and grows all his koi in concrete ponds, as he feels mud ponds are too risky for him. As well as Showa, he also breeds Kohaku and Sanke.
IThe farm is situated on Kyushu Island, and quite compact in size, although the space has been used well and there are many ponds.
