Our koi passion starting in 2002 has been keeping, growing and showing Japanese Koi Carp “Nishikigoi”. With this being the initial reason why we first visited Japan and Niigata in 2006, haven travelled there many times since. From 2016 we have been visiting the southern breeders of Japan every year, with the help of Mike Snaden of Yume Koi Japan, building further relationships with Mike and the southern breeders.                                                                                                                                                                   

We have also extensively travelled to and visited many of the heritage sites and gardens. We have another website, which is solely dedicated to our travels in Japan...as there is simply too much information and to many photos for this website, best viewed on a desktop computer!
